The video makes perfect sense, but I don't feel confident in doing it myself. It looks like a simple repair, but at least when I have someone come by, I'll know what to look for when it's being worked on. Don’t do this. Turn off the electricity during the thawing process. Electricity and dripping water from a frozen coil don’t mix well. Especially in mobile home systems where the coil is above the blower and heat coils. Turn off the breaker during thawing.

SHOULD the new compressor make any noise on start up ? It sounded like caviation or blown car engine - bang, knock, knocky knock knock. I think the guy they sent me finished last in his class ! He said that noise happens sometimes, but it goes away ? It's a brand new compressor. I do not believe him and say he's full of ka ka.

I will say Dad did work, but the problem will probably come back in the future

So, all under cabinet microwaves seems to be the same. Standard. However, why the fuse had been blown in a first place? What you showing is a fuse on a RF noise filter board. There is no guarantee it is going to fix the problem in a MW unit and some other part will have to be replaced. In my case replacing this fuse had no effect. It keeps blowing the circuit breaker on a main panel. All these MWs are made in China or Malasia. Mine is saying Bosch on a label but I didn't find a single part yet in it that is made either by Bosch or some other US company. By the way. The board you are replacing a fuse on says it is made by GE. Hold on, didn't GE sold all its home good division plants to Hoyer long time ago?

This is exactly what I needed!

My buttons are physical, and they do work (barely), so I'm not sure what's wrong with mine. For example, when I press "Microwave," that kind of works. Then, I have to press "Select," and that is harder to get working. After that, I have to set a time with the up/down buttons. There comes the bigger problem. The up arrow button simply doesn't work, and the down one does but barely. So I have to get that to work and hold it down until it counts down from 99 minutes. And then the "Start" button is another story. I can get that working by spamming it rapidly, and it either works or it doesn't.

I'm a lady and a first time home owner.. Videos like this are why I love RUclips. I don't know how much money I saved but I just fixed my toilet for $9. 😮😮😮❤❤ And I'm a plumber now. Thank you for this video. You're a lifesaver seriously

Great run down on trouble shooting a gas furnace I never really trouble shooted a furnace I just went off the diagram and the lights blinking indicating the problem I rebuild a whole gas furnace in over two years due to it being in a flood that I wasn't aware of but I appreciate this

Bought a pack of dawgs for $2.79 (including tax) and with the help of my neighbour and his socket set, my washing machine is back in business....god bless old Kenmore products that will out live us all and bless you for making this video. Side note, there were no agitator dogs to speak of, they must have dissolved over time!

Soooooo.... am I the only one who noticed that at the end of the video this guy's multimeter shows a reading of 0 volts when touching the breaker but yet it shot up to .192 when it was pulled away and not touching anything?!?!?!?!?

I can't get the back plate off. I took the screws out but the back plate will not budge - I have tried to lever it off with a screwdriver and everything but it will not budge. Will it work if I just turn the fridge off for a few hours?
